Surf Club Coolangatta had been a sleeping giant on the very southern end of the Gold Coast. With the implementation of new General Manager, Steve Edgar, in late 2017, members and locals saw a rapid rise in the Clubs profile.

Wanting to make the biggest impact in the shortest amount of time,  Steve, together with the board engaged Habitat to manage the venue marketing. This consists of maintaining their regular member marketing program, as well as executing a few large projects including a rebrand, the design and development of a new website, and the implementation of a loyalty program. 

In the 17/18 financial year, the Cooly projects included:

  • Bus advertising

  • 'What's On' Guides

  • Promotions artwork

  • SMS & EDM campaigns

  • Loyalty program & brochure

  • Website design and development

  • Loyalty monitoring & maintenance

  • Social media & reviews management

  • On-site planning and project management.

Plans for the 18/19 financial year include coffee shop and further venue renovations.
